Weather hold

Our Mountain Trip office just got a call from Bill at Base Camp. They've postponed their move to Camp One due to high winds 20 miles (32 kilometers)per hour. But, they're super comfortable in the huge DOME tent and Crazy Creek chairs. Grilled cheese and chili is keeping them warm too. The forecast for the next few days is for improving weather, so hopefully they'll be heading up glacier tomorrow.

    Hi Terry (K). So... you guys are on the Vinson 'Massif', correct...? So, you started some 500ft up, correct? So, this is more like a walk up Ticknock, except that Ticknock is a bit colder and has more snow right now...! Stay safe, and come home soon! Oran

    Hi Roman. Glad to hear that the climb is progressing and that you're comfortable. Sounds like a great group of climbers. Thanks for the update and I hope the weather cooperates and you have a smooth climb to the summit. Love and miss you. Patricia
